Thepromotion display is the perfect display to do it on because it could ramp down the refresh to 1 like on the watch to really save battery. Thatâs too bad. Thatâs still a decent power saving though. As soon as the âreinventâ the always on display, kind of like they did with widget haha.
SEis basically a series 4 which most people will say has been the best overall value of apple watch. Got the new design, the chip is still only 1 generation behind now and gives all the features of 3. The 3 is just to see the $199 price tag, but the SE will last so much longer then the 3 for only $80 bucks more.
Forlong lasting battery, yes, Apple isnât very competitive. But thatâs only to some watches that have their battery last 2-3-4 days. Watches that lasts like week or two on single charge arenât in class with Apple Watch or some selected other android watches (Samsung, Garmin) because of their features.

Im debating with my friend which watch is better (assuming both are the same price, and both are 44mm, gps+cellular, and same color). Series 6 advantages: more scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal glass (vs the SE 2's ion-X glass) ECG Blood Oxygen always-on display SE 2022 advantages: 2 years newer
Ithink the issue is that the second hand on Apple Watch is a sweeping hand instead of a tick-tick-tick hand. So that wouldnât be possible with the display at 1hz. In âdim modeâ the second hand should tick one time per second. And when you raise your hand it can go back to sweeping. I think the Apple logic is that is would look âbroken

If youâre worried about the always on display, like at work or etc but donât want to go into settings (you could honestly set up a separate dnd profile to adjust this also) you can turn low power on with one tap and itâll turn always on display off, I really enjoy it always on.
Atthe moment, is not supported. And itâs not Apple, the developer of the app has to make it supported or Apple needs to approve the developers to make it work with AOD. It is still evolving and AOD is fairly new at this point. The AoD on third party apps just turns on the time thatâs all, everything else is blurred, so you have the time on
Alwayson display - seems minor, but this is something I always wanted with my S4 - itâs really annoying when you glance at the watch and the display doesnât flash on, causing you to have to jerk your arm around. It typically does, but if youâre in a position that your arm isnât fully raised it sometimes doesnât.
Yes in my opinion itâs worth it. A lot of people on this thread are saying itâs not worth it if you always have your phone with you. This is obviously true, but it misses the point as far as Iâm concerned. I bought the cellular Apple Watch because I WANTED to leave my phone at home, but couldnât.
